Intermittent Error using SDK

I've created several applications for a CRM 1.2
Installation that make various calls using the SDK to
create/modify/retrieve information on accounts, quotes,
salesorders, and products.

The applications include an integration component with a
post callout handler and two services (one communicting
with MSCRM and the other with Navision) and an ASP.NET
order entry system.

All applications are using the CRM SDK and are running on
the server hosting the MSCRM application. I'm seeing
intermittent errors with the following
description "System.Net.WebException: The underlying
connection was closed. Unable to connect to the remote
server."

KB 819450 provides a hotfix to address similar symptoms
but it also states that the hotfix is incorporated in
Framework 1.1 SP1 which is applied to the server.

Because I'm using the CRM SDK proxies I don't see any way
to work around the problem. I can't disable HTTP Keep
alives because the web service calls won't authenticate
then.

I've also modified the machine.config file in an attempt
to make sure the proxy server on the network is not
causing the problem.

Any other ideas?

Thanks
Scott Colson
