Thanks for checking. I have had a bit of a setback. I don't know if I had
told you but this was a recent upgrade to the BackupExec program after they
told me 8.6 wasn't compatible with Server 2003. So, I went ahead with the
upgrade, recieved the software the next day and loaded it. I guess when you
load it at that point, without the license, It's an evaluation version. The
License came on Friday and I loaded it in. Well, they didn't send me the
Exchange Agent License to go with it and I haven't been able to back up the
store since. So, now I'm just waiting. I also have to go back and tell the
money people that I was off in my upgrade estimate by $300. Even after I
told my vendor I needed exactly what I already had licensed. That'll go over
well.
Until then I'm going to try NTBackup again.
I noticed in the logs on Friday; what was being deleted was a whole series
of log files...i.e. e00008*.log. The log files it was backing up was only 1
or 2 of the most recent files. I'm wondering if there is something there
that is only deleting the files a series at a time, assuming that it was the
last group of files written.
