Hi I have an outlook express account that is used by couple of staff.
The account has only one Identity
Ex: User Information
Name : "SiteCustomer Help"
Email Adress : HelpEmail@web.com
When staff click on a web button an automated mail is sent to site
user.Clicking on one button works correctly with email From
"HelpEmail@web.com" which is the requirement.
However clicking on another button sends an email with incorrect "from"
"Koala B" (which is the name of one of the staff who set the email account
initially) HelpEmail@web.com

I dont know the details of how this automation is achieved but My
responsibility is only to rule out any outlook email issues here. I did check
the account and the user Information seems correct as given above. There is
only one identity and that is the default.
Is there anything else I should look in outlook before ruling out wrong with
email settings ? I'm just curious why the staff name "Koala B" is picked as
display name when name is set as "SiteCustomer Help" ?

I had a look at the two email headers, both emails use the same routing but
the correct email uses "sender" and incorret uses "from'
and also the correct mail uses extra couple of cdo stuff like x-mailer that
are not in the incorrect email.
Could this be an outlook issue, exchange server issue or website issue(that
might be generating this mail). Could I also be pointed to any good sites
that knowlege on
how this email automation procedures work.
THANKS
