email problems

Currently using employers exchange server 5.5 as a remote
user to retrieve email. I can receive the email messages
and send email messages, but can not use any of the
normal features - ie. forward or reply to a message and
can not move messages between folders. The screen goes
blank, then returns to the main INBOX. This problem only
occurs on the company laptop and desktop, not any other
remote computer! The only thing I can pin point is that
both computers are running Norton Systemworks 2004.
Norton said it is a Microsoft problem and Microsoft said
it is a Norton problem. My IT admin. is baffled and is
worthless (and he setup both systems).
Any suggestions?
