Hello,
I've been seeing this problem with many of my clients' home and office
computers so it's happening on a variety of client OSes and Exchange
2000 and 2003.
The problem:
IE, doesn't seem to be a certain version but all > 5, stops working
with OWA where it once worked before. I'm pretty sure they get the
login prompt but might not even get that much. OWA just won't load in
IE.
Troubleshooting so far:
Reset all IE security to nothing. Cleared out all Cookies, Temp files,
objects under the View Objects button. Applied all the latest and
greatest MS patches and updates. None of this works.
Solution so far:
Download and install Mozilla or Netscape and OWA works just fine.
I'd like to make OWA work with IE on all of these computers again
instead of making them use Mozilla. Not that I don't love Mozilla,
it's just that using OWA in IE provides extra functionallity. Most of
the gains won by OWA 2003 are lost by not using IE (right-click being
one of the greatest).
Any help on where I can look would be great. Registry? I have a pretty
good suspicion that it's related to fscking spyware crap that gets
installed an mucks with IE.
Thanks a bunch,
Danny Dorsey
