Have you considered Exchange 2007?

I have 2 sites.
Site A= Production with Exchange 2003 2 node cluster.
Site B= DR (disaster recovery)
I am using IBM SVC (san volume controller) to replicate FC SAN storage
successfully. So all my DB and LOGS are at site B.
Now I am using VMWARE and create a clone of one of the nodes in the
cluster
from site A and this box is renamed and joined back to the domain sitting
in
site B where all the logs and DB info is replicated to.
My thought was when site A went down to just point my cloned server in
site
B at the LOGS and DB and users can somehow use exchange
Is this possible? Has anybody ever done this? If the back end works just
wondering about the outlook clients pointed to to cluster.
