Hi!
A customer of mine has the following problem:
He has a single domain spread out over several sites. At each site there
is
an Exchange Server (2003, enterprise) and an administrator, who has the
permissions to create and modify (but NOT delete!) users for his site.
Each
site has its own OU. The site-administrator is also supposed to be able to
create mailboxes and move them between stores on the server in his site.
Setting up the permissions for the user-administration was no big deal.
Giving the site-administrator the permission to create mailboxes was
solved
by adding the group to the Exchange Administrators View-only Group.
(created
by me and given "View-only" permissions on the organization level in
Exchange.) What I can't figure out his how to give the site-administrators
the permission to move the mailboxes. (There are a min. of 2
mailbox-stores
per site!)
Anybody got an idea? (Btw. there is only ONE administrative group, because
the site-admins are NOT supposed to administer the Exchange Servers
themselves!)
Any input is welcome!
Cheers,
Gerrit Deike
