At least there should be one public folder hierarchy per site yet in your
Case you can replicate any user data and system public folders to the DR
site, this will be appropriate.

hello
putting together DR plans for our Exchange environment (2 win2k3/
exch2k3 clusters at 2 separate offices,). Planning on doing the
following, setup a standby cluster node in our DR site (exchange
installed, but no exchange virtual server created), in the event of a
catastrophic failure, will recreate the cluster on the standby
cluster, with the same name as the server thats died etc.., then
restore from database..
Im also planning on having an additional exchange server (maybe 2) for
OWA, and an additional SMTP connector
Ive got a question regarding resilience of the RUS server, and what to
do with the exchange system public folders (schedule free busy/OAB
etc)
can i setup a basic exchange server in our DR site, and add that as an
additional RUS in System Manager, would problems on the domain be
caused by having a second RUS? (AD replication to the DR site only
occurs between 1 and 2 AM)
should all the exchange system folders be replicated to this standby
server?
.
