I've run into this before myself.

There is a registry key you can add. Its at the bottom of that KB.

Exchange 2003
Outlook 2003
Win XP Pro
Of 60 users on this Exchange server, about 10 access it across a VPN. Of
those 10, one user regularly (once or twice per week) cannot get his e-mail
until I reset the MS Exchange IS service on the server. Nobody else has ever
had this problem, including other users of his station (using their own
AD/Exchange logons). This event is logged on the Exchange server every time
it happens.
Mapi session "/o=<Organization>/ou=first administrative
group/cn=Recipients/cn=<UserID>" exceeded the maximum of 32 objects of type
"session".
He can access OWA while he is unable to access e-mail via Oulook. He works
evenings when there are probably fewer than five users accesing the Exchange
server at any one time, so it is not a load issue. This has been going on for
several months.
I first deleted his entire profile (not just his Outlook profile - his user
profile) from his computer & recreated it from scratch. No help. I finally
discovered that if I reset the MS Exchange IS service, then he can get in.
This user is a very low-e-mail-use user who opens only his own mailbox, so
this is not a matter of opening multiple calendars, etc.
