Ah Ok, no, not 6000 on 1 store. I think we will live with this, as it doesnt
affect anything. Thx

You only need to do this to the first store of the first storage group. Are.
you saying you have 6000 users on one store?

Moving 6000+ mailboxes would be quite the hassle, so if thats the best
solution, then I think we can live with the invalid emails.
However this link seems to be solutions geared towards older Exchange 2000
&
2003, so method 1 and 3 wouldnt work.
Thanks for your time in responding.

one of the 4 problems in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316622/en-us.
To
fix it, the easiest method is #2, create a new store and move all the
mailboxes to it.

I dont follow you
Q: "why is that?"
A: because those are invalid addresses.
IMCEAEX-_O=DOMAIN_OU=EXCHANGE+20ADMINISTRATIVE+20GROUP+20+28FYDIBOHF23SPDLT+29_CN=Configuration_cn=Servers_cn=MAILBOXSERVER_cn=Microsoft+20System+20Attendant@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
doesnt exist as an email address on my system.
Why is system attendant sending messages to an address that doesnt
exist?

That the IMCEA encapsulation occurs is telling you that there is no
valid

Why
is
that?

Looking at our message tracking failed results, I see plenty of
emails
from
our mail server going to addresses exchange cannot resolve and thus
failing.
I was curious what these emails are, and why the mailbox role is
spewing
them
out?
For example, the from address is:
MicrosoftExchange329e71ec88ae4615bbc36ab6ce41109e@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
And the recipient address is:
IMCEAEX-_O=DOMAIN_OU=EXCHANGE+20ADMINISTRATIVE+20GROUP+20+28FYDIBOHF23SPDLT+29_CN=Configuration_cn=Servers_cn=MAILBOXSERVER_cn=Microsoft+20System+20Attendant@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
And the message tracking shows the following error on this email:
550 5.2.0 RESOLVER.ADR.BadPrimary; recipient primary SMTP address is
missing
or invalid
