Re: OWA login problems

No I did not. I have been logging in as just username which is the way that I
login from any desktop. In fact, I cannot login using DOMAIN\USERNAME from a
desktop. Any idea why that is?

I will try logging in as DOMAIN\USERNAME when I leave the office later.

Did you try logging in as DOMAIN\USERNAME instead of just USERNAME ?

Lee,

This seems to work only if I am connected via my local Wi-Fi. If I
connect
through someone else's Wi-Fi, it just keeps prompting me for username and
password. Any other thoughts?

Thanks,
Greg

You'll find the settings in Exchange System Manager under
Servers/<servername>/Protocols/HTTP/Exchange Virtual Server .
Right-click
the Virtual Directory named Exchange and select properties.

Can you give detailed steps on how to check your suggestions since I'm
a
newbie?

How to check which authentication schemes are configured in Exchange
System
Manager?
How to make sure that the Exchange Virtual Directory has both
Integrated
and
Basic Auth enabled?
How to make sure that the Exchweb VDir has anonymous access enabled?

Thanks,
Greg

I am running Exch 2003 and am trying to login to OWA from my mobile
device
running Windows Mobile 5.0 using the Wi-Fi connection of the device.
When
prompted to enter my username and password, I enter the correct
information
and then it returns the same login prompt. This continues in a
continuous
loop. I have tried this on 2 different devices with the same
result.
I
don't have any problems logging in from regular computers (desktops
or
laptops). Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Greg

I'd suggest checking which authentication schemes are configured in
Exchange
System Manager. Make sure that the Exchange Virtual Directory has
both
Integrated and Basic Auth enabled. And that the Exchweb VDir has
anonymous
access enabled.
