Exchange with 2 nics

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I hope someone may be able to answer what i hope is a simple question.
Our windows server that has Exchange installed has 2 network cards installed. Both cards have private IP addresses (192.168.1.x), and both of the private addresses map to public addresses thru our firewall.
My question is: is it possible to force Exchange to use only one of the Nics for sending email? We are getting mail rejected because the public address can't be found when you do a reverse DNS lookup.

Thanks
