I imagine after your testing of other mailboxes, you may be on to something.
How large is the inbox and these two or three folders?

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone knows the limits of how large mailboxes you can
sync
to a Windows Mobile 5 unit? I currently have a mailbox that is 20GB large
and
contains over 7000 folders and 400.000 items. I have tried to use
Blackberry
against the mailbox but it is unable to read the whole mailbox during
initialization and therefore I'm unable to use Blackberry with the
mailbox.
Now im trying to use a Qtek (HTC) 8310 to sync the mailbox with Activesync
and Exchange SP2 Push-mail instead. I dont want to sync the whole mailbox
or
folders only the Inbox and two or three subfolders.
When I try to sync the phone it is incredibly slow and it doesnt sync as
it
should. During the first sync I'm able to recieve mails but then nothing
appears in my folders, not even if I do a send/recieve. Twice I have
recieved
a messeage stating Syncronisation problems and that I will lose all my
changes since my last syncronisation - Supportcode: 0x86000209. This
message
appears in my phone as I cannot start a Syncronisation in Activesync since
I
get no respons from the buttons.
For me it feels as if the mailbox is to large to handle and it somehow
times
out during the sync due to it have to read the whole mailbox even if I
just
want to sync parts of it. I dont have this problem with other, smaller
mailboxes.
Does anyone have any idea what I can try to fix this?
Thanks,
.
