Hi all,
I am not an expert in Exchange 2003. But there is a problem happened
after our company
installed the windows 2003 Std R2 and Exchange 2003. I continue
receiving the user report
that the user failed to send the emails to outside.
However, only some of the users will have this problem. After capturing
the data on MSExchangeTransport (SMTP Protocol), we got the following
error:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeTransport
Event Category: SMTP Protocol
Event ID: 7004
Date: 4/4/2006
Time: 9:09:10
User: N/A
Computer: URANUS
Description:
This is an SMTP protocol error log for virtual server ID 1, connection
#117. The remote host "000.000.000.000", responded to the SMTP command
"rcpt" with "553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed
rcpthosts (#5.7.1) ". The full command sent was "RCPT TO:<username
@somedomain.com> ". This will probably cause the connection to fail.

One of our user cannot send out the email but we already confirmed that
the email address(username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) is existed and the user is
using OWA and Outlook 2003 to send out the email, but both are failed.
We tried to restart the SMTP Connector in the Exchange Server and it
seems that the problem is solved. However, we cannot already restart
the SMTP Connector and we need to find out the solution. Otherwise, I
will continue to receive user's report everyday >_<
Please help me
Thanks ^o^
.
