Hi,

In addition to what Bharat said, you might also try using a network sniffer,
such as Network Monitor, to capture the network traffic for your failed
telnet attempts. With such a capture, you can see what's happening on the
wire.

You can also use Netcap, a command-line capture tool, to capture packets.
