2 Domains and Exchange 2003

I have 2 offices connected via branch office vpn. The exchange server is in
domain "a"and the other office in domain "b". I have set up a 2 way trust
with domain "b" and my users in domain "a" can access the resources in domain
"a", and vice versa. Exchange is working fine in domain "a" where the
exchange server resides. However, in domain "b", when I go thru the Outlook
2003 setup wizard, I can specify the exchange server by name and enter the
first initial of the user I want to setup and it finds it just fine. It tells
me that the default data location will be in a pst file and that I will want
to change it when I open Outllook. When I attempt to change it to the
mailbox, it gives me permission errors. Basically saying that I don't have
permission to access the mailbox. I can't open public folders either because
I don't have permission. Even if I select to use the pst file, I get an error
when I try to email a new message, regarding permissions. I know it must be
something simple, but I can't seem to figure it out. I tried using the
administrator login and got the same result. Where do I need to go to grant
the appropriate permissions ?
