many things it could be. Are you using SSL and requiring it? Are you using
forms-based auth? Are you using a FE\BE setup.
I do know you can't require SSL since it talks to itself on port 80
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];817379). Also, you
need to use Basic Auth on OMA and the Active-Sync folder but bothe Basic and
NTLM on the Exchange and Public folders if you are using Forms-Based or just
Basic. If you are using the FE/BE setup then you need to read KB article
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;886346). If you are
running it on Windows 2000 instead of 2003, then you will need the
workaround which I can't remember the article number for. It involves
creating an additionaly virtual directory etc, etc. If you use Google Groups
and search the Exchange Mobility group, you will see much discussion about
it if needed
