problems connecting to exchange
i have setup an exchange server for a small company. since they did not want
to change their current network configuration (peer-to-peer), the server was
installed outside their netgear router, but was installed with a public IP
set aside to their nectork within their office. POP and SMTP service is
working, but trying to connect to the server using Exchange settings is not
working. I have tried to setup VPN on the server and connect thru, but it
still will not open the default e-mail files. I am successfullly connecting
to the server via VPN, but exchange.outlook still does not work. Are there
any ports I can open on the internal router that will allow connection via
exchange?? Also can I setup RPC-Http??? Do I need to reconfigure the
network and actually have the users login to the server?
