Here's the jist:

User has IP address assigned to them through their ISP
User connects to Exchange through VPN and is assigned a private IP.
It looks as if our exchange server is still trying to connect to the user's
public IP, it attempts to make it's connection back to the public IP, where
after a period it times out and then it tries the private IP where it's
successful. Is there anywhere within the Exchange Server's settings
(registry, etc) where we can specify a subnet or subnets to look to
specifically and ignore the rest? I would like to keep the server from
attempting to make all of these bogus connections if it's not needed (5000
user environment).

THanks
