Installed a 2003 small business server 2 weeks ago.
Didn't have domain and set up email with individual pop
accounts that didn't use Exchange server.
Now, the company has a domain. We want to use exchange
to route mail. The configuration allows email to be
received, but not sent.
Relays were problematic at one point which indicated to
me the responding server received but rejected the
message.
Now, there is no response at all. The email gets lost.
The ISP is SBC using their business mail accounts. The
smtp virtual server is configured with the new domain
name and 2 external dns for the 2 email name servers
provided by SBC. I have attempted to send mail with and
without authentication and security.
Email accounts are all configured with pop account info
identified by SBC for small business email.
Anyone have an idea if I'm missing anything?
Thanks,
L
