Thank you Shawn,
I have turned on all of the logging and it turns out that there is an authentication problem. What shows up in the application log is:
Message delivery to the remote domain 'unb.ca' failed. The error message is 'The remote SMTP service rejected AUTH negotiation.
'. The SMTP verb which caused the error is 'AUTH'. The response from the remote server is '250-mailserv3.unb.ca Hello CPE000c6e5762c9-CM014280011082.cpe.net.cable.rogers.com [65.49.24.168], '.
Now, I can't figure out how to resolve this. I have tried setting up a connector, to no avail. I am using the same username and password in exchange as I am using in outlook or outlook express. The u: and p: work.
This is how I have it set up...
Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties->Properties->Delivery
Outbound Security->Basic authentication->username:XXXX password:XXXX
There was no problem with this before.
Any Suggestions?
