event id 4006/4007

Dear,
I am receiving those event id in my windows 2003/exchange 2003.
There is only 4 domains that i can send mail and one i am the administrator.
These emails will sit in queue with no success after many
retries. I've searched through many resources to self-
resolve this problem but nothing comes close to helping.

while delivering to the remote domain 'company.com' for
the following reason: The connection was dropped due to
an SMTP protocol event sink.
The SMTP verb which caused the error is 'quit'. The
response from the remote server is ''.
