The way I approached this issue for a client was to write a default.asp which redirected the user to the logon page.
I had defined OWA in DNS and the user had this page in their browser favourites.
When they selected it the default.asp was loaded and they automatically were redirected to the logon prompt.
I will post my default.asp when I get time. It worked really well for their users.
Regards,
Churchill.
