Hello,
I have the following problem with EXCH 2003 in a single
domain in a single forest.
The mails remain in the queue.
When the queue is submitted to the default smtp connector
I see the following trace in the logfile:
09:31:09 IP1-IP2-IP3-IP4 - - 0
09:31:09 IP1-IP2-IP3-IP4 EHLO - 0
09:31:09 IP1-IP2-IP3-IP4 - - 0
09:31:09 IP1-IP2-IP3-IP4 QUIT - 0
09:31:09 IP1-IP2-IP3-IP4 - - 0
After this the submitted mails are back in the queue.
Sending email manualy using telnet ip-address 25
is working fine.
The connection is made to a unix server with the following
caracteristics:
a Sun Fire V1280 Server
8 Ultra SPARC III Cu Processors running at 1.2GHz
32 GB RAM
2 internal disks of 73 Gb
800 GB of new 15000 rpm diskdrives from the Storage Area
Network (SAN) for incoming mailboxes, personal mailfolders
and webpages
Integrated Gigabit Ethernet
Operating System: Solaris 9
The support-team of the unix mail server say that the
problem is at exchange level.
Thanks for your help
