You guys are getting hit with RNDR spam. (Reverse NDR Spam)
This is about 75% of our call generator right now here at MS.
In E2k3 you can enable recipient filtering to prevent this. In earlier
versions you have to get third-party to assist with this.
Here is a link to an article that explains exactly what is happening too
you: http://www.cmsconnect.com/praetor/RNDR/prRNDR.htm
Here is the article for enabling "Recipient Filtering" :
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q823/8/66.asp
I hope this helps.

| Same thing here Marc, Most of my Clients with Exchange Server 2000/2003
queues are filling up with spam all of a sudden.
All my settings are correct
I've tested manually with Telnet - no relaying is allowed
I've ran a security scan with Retna and got no problems
I have firewalls in front of these servers with SMTP Command Filtering
enabled

Most all of the messages that are getting through are from sender
postmaster@mydomain.name

I filtered out postmaster@mydomain.com under sender filtering and checked
filtering box under SMTP Virtual Server, IP Addresses.

We'll see if it works.
