Thanks for your feedback.
I am a little bit confused (I am not an expert on FE/BE architectures).
I read this document :Using Microsoft Exchange 2000 Front-End Servers.pdf
(Found on Microsoft Web Site).
I read a section called "Supporting HTTP (OWA)" and they say : "For HTTP
requests, the FE always contact the BE over TCP 80, regardless of whether
the client contacted the FE through port 80 or 443".
According to this, I assumed that with Exchange 2003, I would have a problem
to use GZIP compressions and web page authentication (as far as I know I can
only have this in HTTPS) because the BE will see an HTTP request.
I a bit confused, because you say that FE/BE is DCOM ...
If you can give me a little bit more info, that would be great.
