SSL and OWA?

I'm rather confused as to how we can setup our OWA with SSL certs.
Basically we have 3 sites, each with 1 Exchange 2003 Server Enterprise in
them. In the main site, where the internet access is, we have an ISA server
as a firewall behind our main perimeter firewall. The DNS address we have
chosen (owa.company.com) points to the ISA server.

Now in order for the SSL certificate to work, I can see two answers (neither
of which I really want to do!):

1) Buy an SSL cert for each Exchange Server and have 3 DNS addresses to
identify each site/exchange store for OWA (eg. owa1.company.com,
owa2.company.com and owa3.company.com all with their own DNS and their own
SSL cert.).

2) Buy a server and stick Exchange 2003 Server Standard on it as a Front
End Server. One single DNS entry points to this and one single SSL cert is
bought for it.

What I want to know is can I not use a Front End Server, but still use a
single DNS namespace to identify the three sites (eg. owa.company.com/site1,
owa.company.com/site2, owa.company.com/site3)? This would therefore mean
just one SSL certificate, but three unique URLs.
