Re: Unable to Access email using POP3

I'm talking about the user name you supply in the client. However, what you may be seeing is a firewall restriction if you can connect one place but not another.

Dear Ed,
From what you're saying before this, I Quote:

"user has an @company1.com user principal name (UPN) so your @company2.com

Yes, I think we use this setting through out our exchange servers. what I
mean is I recently deployed a new exchange in a remote site. the MAPI works
fine but the POP3 doesn't. Every user that have a mailbox in this exchange
cannot connect using POP3. it keep asking for credential. when I move the
account back to our HO exchange server the POP3 work just fine.
What I wanted to ask is:
1. Why does the newly deployed exchange is not known by the HO exchange?
2. From your answer how to add the User to use an UPN? I already added the
@company1.com to the email list but it still doesn't work.
