Re: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or newer is required to use Outlook Web Access S/MIME.

I would be afraid of 8 at this time. OWA is accessed from a farm of Citrix
servers in lieu of the full client and the known issues have to do with
Citrix. One of them is http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX112195 Funny a
workaround there is firefox also :) But in any event, I have no plans to
get off of IE 6 with the current farm running Windows 2003. I would most
likely go to IE 8 when we upgrade to Windows 2008. S/Mime had to have
worked with IE6 somehow right?

thanks

To be honest I don't know - never tried to use it with 6. If you can't
use 7, can you use 8?

What about Firefox with the IETab plugin?

Have you already installed the S/MIME control on your local machine?
In
OWA go to Options | E-mail Security and click Download.

No, that's when it complains that I must first be in IE7. Is there an IE
6
version of this security plugin?

Pete
