Recently I have been battling a huge problem within our exchange
environment. The user's mailboxes are filling up because of sync
Issues Conflict messages. If I look within the user's mailbox I
normally see a unique message with hundreds of conflicts. This seems
to be happening to almost everyone and the messages are not the same.

I have search high and low and have not been able to find out why
this would be happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How do I find out why this is happening?
What could cause the same message to appear multiple times in the
conflict folder?


Our environment:
2 Exchange 2007 servers
2 Exchange 2003 servers
Mailshadow
Enterprise Vault mailbox archiving

See my reply to your other post. You should try using a news client, such as
Forte Agent, Thunderbird, or even Outlook Express, rather than the pretty
clunky web interface to the newsgroups. It's a lot easier to do nearly
everything that way and you won't run into problems so often with duplicate
posts, your posts not showing up, etc. You can mark messages to be watched,
filter the views so you can see replies to your posts easily, and search.

The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like; no authentication is required.
