Hi Tino,
Thanks for the response, but Outlook Anywhere I believe will cause more
administrative overhead than just regular connectivity as most of the users
have desktops that will not be going offsite.
Political motives are the main driving factor so I require ports for Outlook
to Exchange with a firewall inbetween.
Thanks

You can use RPC over HTTP without using Outlook Anywhere..
That is by far the easiest solution.
The only open port would have to be 443 (if you use SSL/HTTPS)

Hi,T> want
My exchange 07 environment has been firewalled from my clients. I don't
to enable Outlook Anywhere as all my requests will go through the Internet
first while they are inside the LAN. Also no integrated Auth when they are
loggin onto the Domain. I may stand to be corrected here.
What ports need to be open for Outlook 2007 (cached) and Exchange 2007.
I have read: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb331973.aspx
Unfortunately it is not so clear on which ports need to be opened for
Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2007 while they are on the LAN.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Sipho
