IMAP4 delete messages from server

Hi,
I have an Exchange 2003 installation and we have many clients connected
through IMAP4 protocol, I have the following problem: the users delete
messages from their email client (these operation mark the deleted message as
/DELETE) but the message is not delete from the mailbox, only after the user
use the command "empty the recycle" the message is actually delete from the
mailbox (in this case the client sends the IMAP4 comand /EXPUNGE).
Now the question is: Could I do a schedule job that delete the messages
marked /DELETE through IMAP4's client from the user's mailbox at server level
periodically?

Thanks in advance.
