Outlook 2003 disconnects or app hangs on email search.

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

One of the user's on a 35 User network with Exchange gets disconnected from
exchange and eventually outlook (SP3) will hang when searching on a mailbox.
The mailbox is an additional one attached through the advanced options in
outlook.

When I add a new profile it will still disconnect on search and eventually
will reconnect. Overtime the application will hang again. Usually nothing
in the event viewer except the application hang message.
