Lee,
Thanks for getting back to me on that, that certainly worked. I guess I was
following the KB article exactly as written as it did use the "/" in the
example it gave.
I'm assuming that this format should also work on the iPhone and perhaps
this is the problem. I'll post back once I find out.

Hello all,
I'm having trouble connecting an iPhone to IMAP running on Exchange 2003,
sp2. I am currently testing on our local wireless network for when the
client is in the office. I think I may be designating the
username/password
wrong on the iPhone. It trys to connect to exchange, then gives me an
"incorrect username/password" error.
What is the proper format for designating a mailbox account for IMAP?
I have it listed as " AD Domain/username/alias ", in the username field,
is
this correct?
I followed a Microsoft KB article for testing IMAP via telnet. I can get
in, but cannot access a mailbox using the commands listed. Perhaps this
is
part of the orignial problem as well. When I use the command:
? login sub.domain.com/username/password
I receive an error "Expected SPACE not found". Messing around with the
format, i have also received a "No space following tag in IMAP command",
but
I think this was due to my playing with the command.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure what's happening with the iPhone, but if you are doing this from
telnet, there should be a space between username and password, not a / . If
your username is the same as the Exchange alias, you can just use
? login username password.
Lee.
