It's entirely possible that the message envelope did not contain the
recipients while the message header did. Please consult RFCs 2821 and 2822
for more information. You might be able to get more information by looking
at the Internet headers of the original message and by using the Message
Tracking feature of Exchange System Manager.

Hi all,

I have a 2003 exchange server and it appears that some emails are not
being
delivered to our clients. Here's an example of what happened yesterday.

Our company received and email addressed to 3 of our employees and only
one
employee received it. If the employee that received it forwards the email
to the other 2 récipients it does not arrive in those recipients inboxes.

The exchange server is setup to do Journaling and the forwarded emails do
not appear in the Journal Inbox either. Also Email Tracking in Exchange
can
find no trace of the forwarded emails.

The employee that did receive the email can create new emails and send
them
successfully to the 2 clients that failed to receive the email.

Several employees have complained about not receiving messages, but I only
have this one email that I can reproduce the problem by forwarding it as
explained above.

Any ideas on what's going on would be appreciated.
