This user does not have any add-ins.

What happens if you start Outlook in safe mode? (outlook.exe /safe) The
reason that i ask is that this would cut out 3rd party extensions
(addins).

am having an issue with a Windows XP SP2 PC that is trying to connect
to
an
Exchange 2003 SP2 server. The PC is running Outlook 2003 and it will
not
open up. When I checked the Exchange Server's Event Logs, I see:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeIS
Event Category: General
Event ID: 9646
Date: 12/29/2006
Time: 9:32:02 AM
User: N/A
Computer: MAILSRVR
Description:
Mapi session "/o=Global Compliance
Group/ou=global-compliance.com/cn=Recipients/cn=GaryT" exceeded the
maximum
of 32 objects of type "session".

In ESM on the Exchange Server, the user has approximately 34-37 open
connections (Logons). I had modified this on the server to 64 open
connections about a month to 2 months ago because another user had this
same
issue.
The user had these in his event logs:
Event Type: Information
Event Source: Outlook
Event Category: None
Event ID: 26
Date: 12/29/2006
Time: 8:22:13 AM
User: N/A
Computer: GTESIL32L44W
Description:
Connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server has been lost. Outlook will
restore the connection when possible.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at

First, I'm trying to find out what is causing this issue, and if there
is
a
way to close open connections on ESM for a particular user.
