Re: I dont want to see the email until I click on it ... In Outlook, if you don't want to download the body of an e-mail until you overtly open it, don't use the Preview pane.... The message still must be downloaded so the first few lines can be shown (I don't know if Outlook downloads the whole message using the RETR command or downloads only a portion of it using the TOP command). ... I disable the Preview pane in the Junk and Deleted Items folders, too, since I don't want to accidentally be previewing any infected posts. ...
