Re: outlook and sending a message from anothe person's mailbox

The Security tab shows you who has certain permissions on the mailbox. Send As is one of those available permissions. Click Add to add the desired user, then in the Name list select that user, then in the Permissions list, in the Allow column, check Send As.

Are you looking at the Security tab for the mailbox you want to modify? Send
As is right there on the Permissions list on the Security tab, between Reset
Password and Read Phone and Mail Options on my DC.

Sounds like you need to choose View | Advanced Features in ADU&C to turn
on
the Security tab.

Yes, in ADU&C, use the Security tab on the mailbox's Properties dialog to
grant Send As permission.

is it possible
to give access to one user to be able to send mail from another mailbox
without it saying "sent on behalf of.."

thanks,
