Re: OWA GAL vs OUTLOOK GAL

Since searches are done through the Exchange server and not the client,
OWA's searches need to be configured differently than those for Outlook.

Check out the following articles which explain how to do this:

We use Exchange 2003, OWA (that comes with 2003) for our web enabled
staff,
and for those with permanent desks use Outlook 2003.

At the server we created a second Global Address List, and then set the
security for the Default GAL and the New GAL. In MS Outllook 2003, all
seems
to work fine. Log in as a special user and the New GAL appears, login as a
normal user and the DefGAL appears. I am happy. However, the Default GAL
seems to ONLY appear for any user logging into OWA. If I log in as a
special
user with limited views of the Address List and type in 'e' in the
lastname
search field (for example) my name apprears (among others) whom this
speacial
users should not be able to see.

How can I correct this (OWA runs on a front-end server by the way)?
