My advise is speak to a licensing expert, it's a complex area. Try call
Microsoft or speaking to a local software vendor.
Good advice. Especially since I strongly believe you do not need additional Cals
so getting the correct advice may save you the cost of a few lunches.

HI;
I'm an exchange newbie: I'm getting ready to purchase the parts and pieces
to run exchange for 35 clients. Do I need 35 windows CALS along with the
exchange client CALS? This exchage server will be added to our existing
Win2k3 domain that already has 35 CALS (licensed per device/user). It
just
seems redundant to purchase another 35 windows cals, but that's what I've
been told.
Thanks
Dave Mills
