OWA - Body of new mail or reply shows red cross

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi,

I hope somebody can help me with this, I know this is a local machine
problem but I could not sove the problem myself yet. OWA is working fine in
the beginning, I can read my mail by opening a new window etc etc. But when I
want to make a new e-mail or I want to reply to an e-mail I cannot type
anything in the body of the e-mail. The field shows a red cross in the upper
left corner of the field, just like IE does when a picture couldn't be found.
I thought these where my IE settings or maybe java or whatsoever but
upgrading / reinstalling this did not fix the problem neither does setting
the IE settings to MEDIUM LOW or LOW protection.

I also tried to get rid off the windows profile to make sure all standard
settings will come back. Did not work either. On other machines I don't have
any problems but it is crucial for me to read my e-mail everywhere also on
this specific machine. Also this exact same thing happens on this machine
while using webmail for Lotus Notes. This must be a local thing but I can't
find it... please help :D

Kind regards,

Gilbert
