Can anybody point me to instructions on how to allow mobile users (using
laptops) access to the the corporate email server? My intention is to allow
a user to view his mailboxes (new and old messages, sent items) from the
office and on the road.

Mail server is Exchange 5.5 on an NT box, proxy is ISA Server on a Win2k
box, clients use Outlook 2000 and a dial-up line.

I have tried using IMAP protocol over Outlook 2000 but was unable to connect
to the server.

Once, I was able to connect via POP3 but retrieved messages by the laptop
cannot be viewed by the user's in his office PC.

Am I right in choosing IMAP?
