If you mean what the are the ideal client requirements to get the most bang
out of Exchange 2003, then the answer is:
Client side requirements
* Windows XP (SP2), Windows XP (SP1) + KB 331320, or Windows 2003
* Outlook 2003
Server side requirements
* Windows 2003 Active Directory (DC/GCs are Windows 2003)
* Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003
#1 Reason:
* If the plan is to use RPC over HTTPS, then the client operating system
*must* be Windows XP or newer due to some RPC improvements. MS has no plans
on rolling these changes back to Windows 2000.
If RPC over HTTPS is not a concern, then Office/Outlook 2003 will install on
Windows 2000 (SP3) or newer.
