Cannot open hyperlinks in OWA messages

When a user (or I) try to open a link in an email, we get sent to the OWA
login page. The URL is shown as
https://mydomain/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp?url=https://mydomain/exchweb/bin/redir.asp%3FURL=https://otherdomain/index.htm

Entering the user and pass on that page does not take me to the link I
clicked on, but rather keeps me on the login page, albeit with the "You could
not be logged on to Outlook Web Access. Make sure your domain\user name and
password are correct, and then try again." message above the login boxes.

What's more, after doing this, clicking on another folder in the left hand
frame of OWA (like Sent Items, etc) causes the OWA login screen to appear in
the main frame of OWA. If I enter my login info there, however, it does
accept it and brings me to the folder I clicked on.

Anybody have any ideas?
