I can't seem to figure out how I have misconfigured
this. We have a new ceo "Bob" and he works at two places
now, his former company ABC and us, XYZ. He wants to
receive email all in one account, ABC.com. However, he
wants to be able to view his email via Outlook here at
XYZ and send from Outlook here.
So, I created a custom recipient in Exchange 5.5, and now
he has a bob@xyz.com email address. I have assigned his
domain account to this cust recipient. IMC on the server
allows inbound and outbound.
On the client side, I set up outlook for an Internet Mail
account, and put the ABC server as POP and our server at
XYZ as SMTP. He can send all mail to XYZ employees, and
he receives all email sent to both bob@abc and bob@xyz.
But, he can't send out. I'm getting a "No Transport or
Provider" error. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong???
