I'm having a problem with message tracking for Exchange 2003. WhenI try to
use the Message Tracking located in System Manager/Tools/MessageTracking
Center I get this message "The search could not be completed. Checkto see
that the Microsoft Exchange Management Service is running on allExchange
2000/2003 Installatioins. I checked the service it's running. Irestarted
the service to make sure but I still can not track messages. Thereis no
information on this. Does anyone have any ideas?
I would suggest checking the NTFS permissions on the folder that you
are saving the logs to. I'm not sure which accounts need access
(administrator's account or an Exchange service account), but I'd
guess it was the account that the MS Exchange Management service was
configured to run as.
