Thank you for the response. The user in not using cache mode, nor is she
using another client, though users do have access to OWA. I deleted the
user's Outlook profile hoping that the action might make a differance; it
didn't.

See if the user is in cached mode. If so try taking the user off. Also
see if the user is using more than one client. I encountered an issue
with meetings would dissappear and reappear and ended up that the user
was running and leaving Entourage at home which is not fully
compatible with some rich Outlook calendaring causing these types of
