Further information. The users are members of Domain users and various other
network groups. The Workstation is a member of Domain Computers only. The
problem is spreading to almost all staff whose network password is about to
expire.

Hi,
We have just implimented a new stronger password policy and everyone is
gradually changing network passwords when they expire. Since this has
occured when people open outlook 2003 they get asked for a username/password.
In the event logs on their PC they get a Kerberos client recived a
KRB-AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the exchange server. Then it says this
indicates theat the password used to encrypt the kerberos service ticket is
different than that on the target server.
Any suggestions what can be causing this. We have always had change
password in 60 days set but have not had these issues before. The server
time and clients time are syncronising correctly.
thanks
Why is it happening when they open Outlook? These workstations arent
domain members?
