Re: Relay Access Denied Problem

From Scott's original email, he explained that he has a user (Scott's customer) that is trying to send emails to a friend (rfes@xxxxxxxxxx). Those email attempts result in the "Relay access denied".
Now assuming that the friend's address is correct as Scott copied/pasted, the friend's domain "ceriin.net" is no longer a valid domain - it's not a "simple" DNS misconfiguration, the domain simply is not longer valid. A Google search (http://74.125.47.132/search?q=cache:NCfqoOjJdYUJ:www.cerini.net/+ceriin.net&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=safari) will show a cached page for "ceriin.net" as it appeared on July 19, 2009, just two days ago. So the domain name literally *just* expired within the last few hours, and is now available for registration on NetSol.com.
The issue is not with Scott, but rather with the company that own(ed) ceriin.net (again assuming that this is indeed the correct address he gave - however since the domain indeed expired just two days ago, the coincidence of being the incorrect one is remote :-)

He has sent e-mail for months with no problems. Now he can't send any
e-mails to him.
And before you ask, no, I did not change anything on the Exchange

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this started all of a sudden, or
what I might do about it.
Thanks for your help!
