Do you have multiple domains? Is the user account mail- or mailbox-enabled? Please describe completely the steps you are taking.

In the search box of the New Mailbox wizard it does not find the user at all by complete first and last or even partial. If I go over to the DC, the user is there and he has been using the login profile for years.
If I create a test user AD profile, the new mailbox wizard finds it, so it is working as expected against our AD.

Hi,
I seem to have an issue with one AD profile on my system. When I try
to create a mailbox using the EMC, I type in the users first name in
the find box and it does not find the user at all for first or last
name or even parts of it. The AD profile is valid and in use by the
person. Is the AD profile screwed? Do I have to recreate so that I
can get a mailbox created for him? This is the first time I have
seen this, but this is a new installation.
Thanks,
Sean
What happens if you type in the login ID?
